Like an extra set of eyes, BVM uses radar sensors in the rear bumper to keep watch for vehicles in your blind spot. If a vehicle is detected, it sends audible alerts and a subtle vibration in the steering wheel to keep you aware.

LKA helps you stay in your lane. If you start to drift without signalling, it gives you a warning and even provides gentle steering assistance to help keep you safely on track, making long drives smoother and more confident.

SEW looks out for oncoming traffic when you’re parked. If a vehicle is approaching from behind, the system alerts you with a sound and a visual warning, helping you and your passengers exit the car safely.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW).

DAW analyses your driving behaviours over time. If it notices signs of fatigue or recognises you've been driving continuously for an extended period, pop-up messages and audible warnings will suggest you take a break.

Turning into oncoming traffic at a road junction is made safer with the FCA front camera/radar system. As soon as your INSTER’s indicator is turned on, the system is designed to detect oncoming obstacles like vehicles, cyclists and motorbikes and alert you to take extra care. If the system detects that danger is imminent, it applies emergency braking to avoid an impact.

Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)

ROA helps make sure no one is accidentally left behind. It detects when rear doors are opened and, after parking, alerts you with a sound and a dashboard warning if anyone—whether a child or pet—remains inside.

    The INSTER is available in two variants with different battery and roof options to fit your all-in lifestyle:

    • The INSTER with Standard Range delivers up to 327 km[P1].
    • The INSTER with Extended Range delivers up to 360 km[P1].
    • The INSTER Cross model with a sunroof delivers up to 360 km[P1].
    • The INSTER Cross model with the roof basket option pack delivers up to 293 km[P1].
